Are you using a free Zoom account?
If yes, you should be encountering a problem too often.
Let's assume you host a Zoom meeting, and a participant wants to share their screen. Most users simply make that participant as the host, in order to enable them to share their screen.
While it's not a big deal to simply change the host and continue the meeting, you might get annoyed when you (or another participant) want to share your screen after that participant.
Because the participant (currently the host) must make the next person (who wants to share their screen) as the host and pass the screen-sharing baton to them.
This back and forth of changing the host is annoying for a lot of users.
However, there's a simple alternative way to enable screen sharing for participants without making them the host.
In this blog post, we'll walk you through that step.
When you host the meeting, just click on the arrow (pointing up) in the right of the Share Screen option.
Click on Advanced Sharing Options...
Now a dialog window will open. Just select All Participants under the Who can share? section.
You're all set now. There's no need for changing the host now. Anyone can share the screen without they having to become the host.
And there are other options too in the same dialog window, based on which you can choose if multiple participants can share the screen at the same time, and also if a participant can start sharing when some one else is already sharing their screen.
